Georgi Dichev is born on 26th July 1973 in Sofia.
He graduated 7th Highschool “The Seven Saints” in 1991 and the same year started studying Law at Sofia University, St. Kliment of Ohrid. In 1995 he graduated.
Between 1997 and 1999 he worked as a legal expert at the Office of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Starting 1st July 1999 he became an enforcement judge at Sofia Regional Court. He is among the founders of the Bulgarian Union of Enforcement Judges and its chairman until December 2005.
He was among the leaders of the enforcement liberalization reform in Bulgaria and was elected unanimously as the Chairman of the Council of the Chamber of Private Enforcement Agents on its Constituent Assembly on 26.11.2005, in January 2009 he was reelected for a second term as Chairman.
Since 2002 Mr. Dichev was involved with the issues of enforcement of civil judgments in Bulgaria. He participated in the drafting and preparation of all laws and regulations connected with the introduction of private enforcement as well as the Enforcement part of the new Civil Procedure Code.
He was acting as the Bulgarian representative in the International Union of Enforcement Officers (UIHJ) – an organization of enforcement officers of more than 70 countries.
Georgi Dichev is a licensed enforcement officer since 04.04.2006.
